As the year 2010 starts it is our prayer that all of us who labored shall remain steadfast and may God find us faithful until HE returns. Mangkayan,BENGUET- MORE THAN 600 churchmen including first time visitors, delegates from churches and missions elsewhere in Benguet joined the Metropolitan Bible Baptist Church during its 16th founding anniversary last November 29,2009.

SIMCHAT TORAH is the Hebrew for Rejoicing in the Law. Deuteronomy 6 calls the Jew to rejoice in the Torah of God everyday of his life. Israel especially remembers the giving of
the Law on the Feast of Shavuot each year. While Sukkot does not specifically include a special day for a ceremonial celebration of Torah, the Jewish people set aside this day for feasting, dancing, processions with the Torah scroll, special songs and prayers.

“ I bessech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God,
that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which i s your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by
the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that is good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12: 1-2)

uplifting. Praise God because He
was with us through it all. So for
now, I just want to share with

EVERY TIME Christmas comes, it seems to bring out the theologian in everyone. Newspapers, magazines,
and tabloids always run articles about the reality of Jesus Christ- ”Who Is He?” They try to portray the record in the gospel as a collection of myths and legends. Newsday
ran an article with similar theme. So did the Toronto Star and U.S. News and World Report.
