TOO BLESSED AT TWO

San Jose Del Monte City, BULACAN - THE BETHANY BAPTIST MISSION

led by a youthful pastor in Barangay San Martin, Sapang Palay, this city recently celebrated her 2nd Year Founding Anniversary with a shower of blessings.

This young mission congregation has borne 42 active men and women, some nursing mothers and including 15 young people, mostly first generation Christians who work along side with pastor Nelson Mugar.

When asked about the secret of their significant growth both in number and spirituality of members, pastor Nelson said, “Much prayer, soul winning, discipleship, home Bible studies and a lot of sacrifice.” He said that the Lord showed him the key in Proverbs 11: 30 “… and he that winneth souls is wise” their theme in this year’s anniversary held last June 21, 2009.

At two, this mission church, this early has already an outreach at Barangay Bitungol in the municipality of Norsagaray, Bulacan with 25 regular attendees during Sunday afternoon’s worship service. This young mission church also concluded its 2nd Daily Vacation Bible School (DVBS) last May with 83 graduates and six new believers were baptized. As always with a thankful heart Mugar praises God as He uses faithful Christians whom he declined to mention who are supporting him in his ministry. “God will richly bless them more bountifully. To God be the glory!” he said
