Genuine Christianity

(I Chronicles 29: 10-13)

TRUE CHRISTIANITY is always God-centered, God-concentrated, God-controlled and God-conscious. Jesus Christ is our God and Creator who in His love for us went to Calvary and died for our sins. Col. 1 16-17; Titus 2: 13-14; 2 Cor. 5: 14-15; (John 1: 1-4, 9-10, 12).

1. The Christian Life is a God-given life. It is a free gift. James 1: 17; Romans 6: 23; John 4:10, 13-14; Eph. 2: 8-9; I Tim. 1: 13-15; (Rom. 3: 23-28; Rom. 5: 15-18; Acts 8: 18-22).

2. The Christian life is a God- governed life. It is all-important that we humble ourselves before the Lord and totally surrender our lives to him. He must reign and rule in our lives. Isa. 57:15; 2 Chron. 16:9; Rom. 12: 1-2, 14: 7-9; I Cor. 6: 19-20; Gal. 2: 20.

3. The Christian Life is a God-grounded life. Christ is the only one and only safe foundation and sure chief cornerstone. I Cor. 3: 10-11; Eph. 2: 20, 3: 17-19; I Peter 2: 6-7; Luke 6: 46-49 (We must obey Him. If we do that we will become an everlasting foundation: (Prov. 10: 25).

4. The Christian Life is a God-guided life. John 14: 26-27, 16: 13-14; I Cor. 2: 9-10, 12; Prov. 3: 5-6, Ps. 25: 4-6; 32:8.

5. The Christian life is a God-guarded life. John 14: 26-27, 16: 13-14; I Cor. 2: 9-10, 12; Prov. 3: 5-6, Ps. 25: 4-6, 32: 8.

6. The Christian life is a God-glorifying life. Matt. 5: 14-16; John 17: 10, 22-23; I Cor. 6: 19-20, 10:31; Phil. 1: 20-21, (I Peter 4: 10-11).
Phil, 3: 13-14. Our High Calling is to be God-like, God-governed, God-grounded, God-guided, God-guarded, and God-glorified.
