WORLD MISSIONS VICTORY

Cainta, Rizal - AN average of 450 Biblical Baptists in daily attendance for three days feted the First World Missions Conference hosted by Pilgrim Bible Baptist Church in this premier town of Rizal last December 16 to 18 , 2009 , Rev Bernabe’Bing” Escrupulo lead pastor of the said church wrote.

Some 36 pastors and preachers from different congregations, missions and outreaches of PBBC elsewhere in the country and missionaries from Asia joined the said conference. Three noted church planters leading the roster of church leaders who attended were lawyer Mar Arias, senior pastor of Bible Baptist Church in Project 8, Quezon City, Dr Edwin Tan, of Faith Baptist Church in Pasig City and International Coordinator of Baptist Missions Partner and pastor Chad Mahinay of Hilltop Bible Baptist Church in Surigao City. The three pulpit stalwarts are advocates of church planting and soul winning crusaders. Pastor Arias is noted for planting more than 40 mission churches and the latest one in New Zealand.

Meanwhile , the missionaries from abroad were pastor Ariel Buhayang, a missionary pastor in Congo, pastor Joel Malaysay in Sri lanka and
pastor Roger Lamanilao missionary pastor in Ethiopia. The World Mission Conference also coincided with the PBBC’s 32nd Anniversary that yielded ten professions of faith from among scores of first time visitors, five baptisms and pastor Bless Milano of Mabuhay Sison in Surigao
del Norte who surrendered for mission work abroad . On the anniversary climax,Veteran pulpit leader Rev Wen Secillano pastor of Holy Land Bible Baptist Church in Davao City spoke on the anniversary theme”Soar To Greater Heights”.
